Thailand reports 188 new coronavirus cases



BANGKOK: Thailand has reported 188 new coronavirus infections on Sunday taking the total to 599 cases, Thai authorities have said.

The majority of the new infections, authorities said, are connected to a previous cluster of cases from a boxing stadium.

One patient had recovered.

According to Taweesin Wisanuyothin, a Public Health Ministry spokesman, most of the new cases were found in Bangkok and were among young people.

He also urged the public to stay home.

There has been one death in Thailand. (With inputs from Agencies)
