Teku Hospital to treat only COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: The Teku-based Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital will now treat patients only related to COVID-19 infection.

The hospital has already closed the Outpatient Department service. Earlier, the hospital used to treat cases related to tuberculosis, HIV, diarrhea and dog bite among others, media reports said on Sunday.

According to the hospital Director Dr. Sagar Kumar Rajbhandari, now tuberculosis and HIV patients need to visit Patan Hospital and patients bitten by dogs should go to Province Health Office, Tuku for treatment.
