NEW DELHI: Tata Motors has launched new Altroz in India at a starting price of IRs 5.29 lakh for the top of the line trim.

The all-new Tata Altroz has been claimed to take on the segment leader Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, Hyundai Elite i20, Toyota Glanza, and Volkswagen Polo, Indian media reports said.

This is the first car in the company’s ALFA modular architecture. It should be noted that earlier this month, the new Tata Altroz had scored a five-star rating in the latest Global NCAP crash test results.

The new Altroz measures 3,990 mm in length, 1,755 mm in width and 1,523 mm in height, reports have said.
