Khanal urges Thapa, Gautam to clear their positions



KATHMANDU: Senior leader of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Jhalanath Khanal has urged Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam and leader Ram Bahadur Thapa to clear their positions.

Addressing the ongoing Central Committee meeting of Prachanda and Nepal faction on Tuesday, leader Khanal urged them to clear their positions on which faction they will join.

Thapa and Gautam have said that they are in favor of party unity and will not attend factional meetings and gatherings.

Similarly, Khanal has also urged Chairman and Prime Minister KP Oli to quit the ‘criminal act’ of splitting the party.

Khanal further blamed Oli for causing a crisis in the country.
