Share market fares good on Tuesday, NEPSE rose above 3 percent in 11 minutes



KATHMANDU: The share market has gone green on Tuesday, the third day after President Bidya Devi Bhandari dissolved the House of Representatives at the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Oli.

The stock market that had declined by 96 points since the dissolution of parliament on Sunday rose by 30 points on Monday amid fluctuations throughout the day.

However, the NEPSE that seem green from pre-open session on Tuesday has risen by 61.21 points (3.11%) to 2027.17 points.

In the meantime, a total of 436,506 shares of 124 companies got traded during till 11 am today resulting in a turnover of Rs 292.295 million.

The sub-indices of other and banking groups except mutual fund has risen above 3 percent today.

Out of the companies traded, the share price of 125 companies has increased while the share price of eight companies has remained stable.
