NC holding CWC meeting at 1 pm today

To come up with official take on parliament dissolution

KATHMANDU:  Main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has called its central working committee (CWC) meeting today.

To be held at the central party headquarters in Sanepa at 1 pm will dwell on how to move ahead in the context following the dissolution of the parliament and announcement of the mid-term poll, informed Bishwa Prakash Sharma, the spokesperson of the NC.

The NC has been saying that the dissolution of the parliament is undemocratic, unconstitutional and against the mandate of the people.

NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba had called an officer-bearers’ meeting at Budhanilkantha immediately after Oli’s move to dissolve the parliament and opposed it.

It has said that it would lunch protest programs in collaboration with the parties represented in the parliament.

He has met with NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, senior leaders Madhav Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal and leaders of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) at Sanepa.

NC, JSP and NCP are holding their CC meetings today. The meeting will dwell on how to move ahead in the changed context following the dissolution of the parliament.
