Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll hits 812 with 21 new fatalities



KATHMANDU: A total of 21 people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 812 as of Thursday afternoon with the new deaths.

Meanwhile, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 148, 509 as of Thursday afternoon after 3,637 persons tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Jageshwor altogether 15,255 sample tests were conducted across the country in the past 24 hours.

According to Dr. Gautam, 3,215 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 102,820 in the country.

Nepal currently has 44,877 active cases, he said.
