Regular flights to Doha, Riyadh and Kuwait from Oct 1



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to operate regular flights to Doha, Riyadh, and Kuwait from October 1.

Only chartered and rescue flights are being operated in these countries at present.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has made public the flight schedule of regular flights from the Gulf countries.

The ministry had earlier made public the flight schedule for the month of September.

Kedar Bahadur Adhikari, Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, said that regular flights will now be operated to Doha, Riyadh and Kuwait.

The schedule of international flights from the country has been made by the regulator Nepal Civil Aviation Authority.

According to the flight schedule, there will be an average of 109 flights a week. Up to 15 daily flights are allowed for October.

According to the added flight schedule, narrow-body and wide-body aircraft of Nepal Airlines and Himalayan Airlines will fly to Doha.

Jazeera Airways will operate flights from Kuwait and Himalaya Airlines will operate regular flights from Riyadh.
