Cabinet meeting taking palce; to extend NRA’s tenure

KATHMANDU: A cabinet meeting is taking place on Tuesday.

The meeting to be held at 9:30 am is likely to extend the tenure of National Reconstruction Authority.

An NRA direction committee meeting chaired by Prime Minister Oli on Monday evening had recommended to extend the term of the NRA by a year.

According  to sources, the recommendation made by the direction committee will be officially endorsed by the cabinet meeting today.

Similarly, the cabinet meeting is also likely to take decisions on the appointment of Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority and  the ambassadors, according to a minister.
