Mother killed in Syangja landslide, daughter rescued



SYANGJA:   A woman has been buried to death in a landslide in Galyang municipality-19 in Syangja district.

The deceased has been identified as Maya Saru of  Galyang municipality-19, said District Police Office, Syangja.

Locals have rescued her 20-year-old daughter Narayani safely.

They were buried after their house caved in due to a landslide that occurred on Tuesday night.

Injured Narayani is receiving treatment at Grahaun Primary Health Center, Waling, said District Police Office, Syangja.
