Provincial Assembly member Deepak Manange resigns from House Panel

KATHMANDU: Gandaki Province Provincial Assembly member Deepak Manange (Rajiv Gurung) has resigned from the Finance and Development Committee.

Manange said that the committee had to become helpless while monitoring the development projects and clarified that he had resigned out of embarrassment.

He handed over his resignation to committee Chairman Deepak Koirala.

He said, “I also went to monitor the projects along with the committee. The game of commission was going on there. The DG of the department needs a 10 percent commission and the other needs 20 percent commission. It’s shameful. That’s why I resigned.”
