KATHMANDU: Rain is occurring in various parts of the country due to monsoon.
According to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), heavy rain is occurring in some parts of Gandaki Pradesh, Pradesh 5, Bagmati Pradesh, Pradesh 2 and Pradesh 1.
Light to moderate rain is forecast in various parts of the country in the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the MFD has advised people to take precaution warning that the floods and landslides might occur due to heavy rain in the country.
The weather will be generally to fully cloudy with chances of light to moderate rain in Pradesh 1, Pradesh 2, Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesh, Pradesh 5 and Sudurpashchim Pradesh in the afternoon.
