Okhaldhunga reports a first coronavirus case



OKHALDHUNGA: A coronavirus case has been confirmed for the first time in Okhaldhunga.

A 28-year-old man was infected with the COVID-19 in Likhu rural municipality.

The case was confirmed after his PCR report came out to be positive on Sunday said Suman Tiwari, Chief of District Health Office. He had recently returned from India and been kept in quarantine of the rural municipality.

Out of six people kept in quarantine, one tested positive for the coronavirus.

With this, the coronavirus has spread to 76 districts in Nepal. The deadly virus has not been detected in Rasuwa so far.
