Dead body of youth missing in Sunkoshi jeep mishap retreived



KAVRE:  The dead body of one among of the two persons who went missing in the Bolero jeep mishap in the Sunkoshi River has been retried.

The body has been identified as that of Bhola Mahat, 27, from Bhumlu rural municipality 1, confirmed  police.

A Bolero jeep, Ba 16 Cha 8838, had veered off the road and plunged into the Sunkoshi River from Silame Bhir at 4 pm on Wednesday. The jeep was heading to Saping from Dolalghat.

Ahok Giri, 26, of Bhumlu rural municipality is still missing in the river.

Sanumaya Giri,34, was rescued alive and is undergoing treatment at Scheer Memorial Hospital, Banepa.

A joint rescue team from Nepal Police and Armed Police Force retrieved the body, informed District Police Office, Kavre.

Police said they are searching for another missing person.
