KATHMANDU: Twelve Coronavirus patients have been admitted to Patan Hospital. According to a doctor, all of those infected entered Kathmandu from various districts including Sunsari and Saptari during the lockdown with the help of government passes.
“Some of them are from Sunsari and Saptari while some are from other districts,” said the doctor, adding, “All of them came to Kathmandu by making government passes.
However, they have not shown symptoms of the novel virus yet.
It is learnt that they have been staying in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Patan Hospital, currently.
According to the doctor, the number of infection cases is increasing due to negligence on the part of the government during the lockdown.
Patan Hospital has a separate dedicated Coronavirus hospital. It has six isolation wards, a 21-bed emergency room and 15-bed room for keeping patients infected with Coronavirus.
