Godawari bans vegetables from three areas including Kalimati

LALITPUR: Godawari municipality has directed not to import vegetables from three areas of the Kathmandu Valley.

The municipality has put a ban on importing vegetables from Baneshwor, Balkhu and Kalimati.

Issuing a press note, Gajendra Maharjan, Mayor of Godawari municipality, warned that a stringent action would be taken if the vegetables and fruits were imported from Kalimati, Balkhu and Baneshwor and sold in the Godawari municipality.

Maharjan argues that vegetables and fruits come to these places from India and they might be infected with Coronavirus.
