UK reports 35, 704 deaths, 248, 293 infection cases

KATHMANDU: The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) from Coronavirus pandemic has reached 35, 704 after 363 died in the last 24 hours.

According to Worldometer, the number of infection cases has surged to 248, 293 so far. The condition of 1,559 is reported to be critical. No new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.

UK has performed tests on 2,962,227 people so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 329,180 and infecting 5,079,  896 people as of Thursday morning.
