Ordinances ill-intended move of Oli govt: Sajha Party

KATHMANDU: Sajha Party (SP) has dubbed two ordinances as an ‘ill-intended’ move of the Oli-led government.

Issuing a press release on Tuesday SP said the ordinances endorsed by President Bidya Bhandari at the recommendation of the government clearly indicates that the Oli-led government is heading towards a totalitarian rule.

“The two-thirds majority government led by Oli has lost is credibility and the confidence of people as it mired into controversies for two years. Both the ordinances were tabled at the cabinet meeting without consulting Pushpa Kamal Dahal, another chairman of the party, and other senior leaders,” reads the statement.

Stating that the ordinances have made a mockery of the democracy, the SP has urged the government to withdraw them right away.
