Spain witnesses 20,852 deaths, 200, 210 infection cases



KATHMANDU: Spain has the second highest number of infection cases with 200, 210 after the United States of America (USA).

According to Worldometer, 1,536 people were infected and 399 died in a single day. A total of 20,852 people have died due to the novel virus as of Tuesday morning.

Currently, 98,771 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7,371 are critical.

A total of 80,587 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 170,370 and infecting 2,479,691 people as of Tuesday morning.
