International mountain museum shuts



POKHARA: Pokhara-based International Mountain Museum has been shut in view of the threat of COVID-19.

The museum operated by Nepal Mountaineering Association has been completely closed down until April 3 upholding the government’s decision to shut cultural and recreational centers gathering more than 25 people, shared museum’s director Shanker Gautam.

However, the sanitation and security-related actions within the museum would continue to take place, he informed.
