Nepal Army to launch app on COVID-19



KATHMANDU: Nepal Army is preparing to develop an app that would keep people posted of the coronavirus infections and the initiatives taken by the government to contain it.

The government has set up health desks in 41 places across the country in collaboration with Nepal Army, informed Brigadier General Bigyan Dev Pandey, spokesperson of the NA.

“The app will inform people about the activities of the health desks,” said Pandey, adding,” All the activities executed by the health desks can be downloaded through this app.”

The app will inform people about the location of the health desks, health workers and the number of people infected with the novel virus among others.

Nepal Army will unveil the app soon.
