Rastriya Janamorcha withdraws support to govt

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Janamorcha has termed the KP Oli-led government’s move to dissolve the parliament as unconstitutional, undemocratic, and authoritarian.

The party’s central office meeting on Monday reached the conclusion.

After the meeting, Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC issued a statement strongly protesting and condemning the government’s move.

The party has also withdrawn its support to the Oli-led government.

“We had supported the Oli-led government in the past because of its stance on republicanism, nationalism, and secularism,” the statement said, “But, we have decided to withdraw our support for the Oli-led government, considering the wrongdoing of dissolving House of Representatives.”
