KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Chair of the ruling Nepal Communist Party KP Sharma Oli has said that only the meeting he summons is an official meeting of the party.

Talking to the party’s central members and outgoing MPs at his official residence today, the NCP Chair Oli claimed to be the first rank Chair of the party as per its statute, and hence any meeting or decision without his involvement was insignificant, according to PM’s press advisor Surya Thapa.

It may be noted that Chair Oli has summoned a meeting of the party’s central committee for 9:00 am tomorrow while another Chair Prachanda has called the same meeting for 1:00 pm the same day.
