NCP Vice-chair Gautam says he won’t be witness of party split



KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam has said that he was still in favor of the party unity.

Gautam has said that he will not be a witness of the party split and will not participate in any gathering of any faction.

“I have decided not to participate in the meetings and gatherings just to announce the split,” Bamdev said on Monday, “I am in favor of party unity. I will continue to try to save party unity.”

Gautam, who had been openly in favor of Prachanda and Madhav Nepal faction until the dissolution of the House of Representatives has since remained neutral. Lately, he has not joined any factional meetings.
