Oli faction summons Central Committee meeting



KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman KP Oli has convened a meeting of the Central Committee on Tuesday.

The Oli faction has called a meeting of its central members in Baluwatar on Tuesday morning.

The meeting will be held at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar at 9 am, said Ishwori Rijal, Secretary at the central office.

Earlier, a meeting of the NCP Standing Committee held on Sunday had decided to hold a meeting of the Central Committee on Tuesday at 1 pm.

The Standing Committee meeting had decided to take the proposal of disciplinary action against Chairman Oli to the Central Committee.

But, Oli called a meeting of the Central Committee of leaders loyal to him before the meeting of another faction led by Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal.
