India records 24,589 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

NEW DELHI: India recorded 24,589 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 10,056,248.

Currently, 305,015 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 9,605,390 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 145,800-mark.

With 330 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 145,843, according to the latest figures by Worldometers.
