America records over 200,000 single-day COVID-19 cases

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 12,274,726 in the United States of America after 201,083 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 4,698,120 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 7,316,323 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 260,283 with 1,951 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus has killed 1,377,745 and infected 57,909,991 globally until the filing of this news.
