Biplav outfit warns of action if COVID-19 expenditure not disclosed



JHAPA: The outlawed Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav has warned of taking action if the expenditure for the prevention of coronavirus is not made public within three days.

The outfit has directed 15 local levels in the district to make public the details of income and expenditure for coronavirus prevention and control.

The outfit has alleged the local level of being indulged in corruption.

In a statement signed by Jhapa District Secretary Shrijang on Sunday, he said that the party’s serious attention has been drawn to the rise in corruption and misappropriation at all local levels and the private sector.
