Gandaki Pradesh records 38 additional COVID-19 cases

POKHARA: Thirty-eight additional coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Gandaki Pradesh on Monday morning.

The cases were detected during PCR tests conducted at Regional Tuberculosis Center, Pokhara.

According to Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, the spokesperson for  COVID-19 Control and Prevention Program of Gandaki Pradesh,  17 among those infected are from Tanahun, 14 from Baglung, four from Kaski, two from Syangja and one from Gorkha.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 3,478 in Gandaki Pradesh.

Currently, 1,333 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers while 2,113 (60.75) have returned home after recovery.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 32 until the filing of this news.
