Coronavirus-infected inmate dies at Bheri Hospital



BANKE: A coronavirus-infected inmate of Nepalgunj prison has died in the course of treatment at Bheri Hospital.

A 58-year-old inmate of Surkhet, Gurbhakot municipality, who was serving a prison term in the Nepalgunj prison died at 6:25 am today.

Shifted from Surkhet to Nepalgunj prison recently, he had been admitted to Bheri Hospital after he tested positive for coronavirus on September 6.

According to Naresh Shresth, a focal person of the District Health Office, Banke, the patient breathed his last at 6:25 am in the course of treatment.
