KATHMANDU: The government has decided to admit only symptomatic COVID-19 patients to hospitals.

A meeting of Council of Ministers held on Thursday decided to keep non-symptomatic patients in home isolation, according to government Spokesperson Minister for Finance, Communications and Information Technology Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada.

“Technical analysis has shown that non-symptomatic patients can be cured quickly if they are in home isolation,” government Spokesman Dr. Khatiwada said, “Only symptomatic COVID-19 patients will be taken to hospitals for treatment.”
