11-year-old girl abducted and raped in Bardiya



BARDIYA: A 21-year-old man reportedly abducted and raped an 11-year-old girl at Barbardiya municipality in the district.

Chandra Ram BK of Bhagatpur in Barbardiya-8 kidnapped the rape survivor while sleeping with her grandmother at her house before raping her, claimed the rape survivor’s family.

The family of the rape survivor reported the case to the Area Police Office, Baniyabhar, said Inspector Hikmat Bahadur Bhandari.

The rape survivor was receiving treatment at a hospital and investigations into the case are underway after keeping BK in the police office, he said.
