Indian nat’l held with mobile displays in Kailali



KAILALI: Police have arrested an Indian national with mobile displays worth over Rs 1.6 million.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint police squad from Sudurpaschim Province Police Office and Area Police Office, Tikapaur arrested Indian national Chand Ali from Tikapur municipality-1 with the mobile displays this morning.

Originally from Uttara Pradesh of India, Ali had been staying in rented room based at Tikapur municipality-1, according to DSP Pratik Bista of District Police Office, Kailali.

The team seized 1,267 pieces of mobile displays illegally hidden in the Ali’s room, said Bista.

Police said they have sent Ali along with the mobile displays to the main customs office, Kailali for investigation.
