Landslides obstruct Prithvi Highway



TANAHUN: Prithvi Highway has been obstructed due to landslides caused by incessant rains continuing since last Sunday.

The highway has been obstructed after landslides occurred at Ganadi of Myagde rural municipality-1, Tanahu and Ainapahara of Anbukhaireni rural municipality.

According to DSP Yubaraj Timalsina of District Police Office, Tanahun, the highway has been obstructed after landslides occurred in two places this morning.

Efforts are being made to clear the road, said Timalsina.

With the road obstruction, the vehicles coming to Kathmandu from Pokhara and Chitwan have been stranded.
