151 Nepalis arriving from UAE today



KATHMANDU: A total of 151 Nepalis stranded in the United Arab Emirates are arriving in Nepal on Sunday.

A total of 25 women and 126 men boarded a flight of Himalaya Airlines from Abu Dhabi at 4:20 am local time.

Among those returning today are a large number of those who fell under the priority list of the Nepali Embassy in the UAE.

Some are arriving in Nepal on tickets provided by their employers while others at their own expense after purchasing tickets at USD 385 fixed by the government of Nepal.

They underwent a free COVID-19 test at Abu Dhabi Airport. Out of them, three passengers could not return to Nepal as they tested positive for coronavirus.
