Police seal Bhaktapur’s Dhaulabasti

BHAKTAPUR: Police have sealed Dhaulabasti in Bhelukhel of Bhaktapur Municipality after a 42-year-old male was tested positive for coronavirus.

The man was taken to the hospital at 1:00 am today, the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur said.

The Ministry of Health and Population had on Tuesday confirmed the detection of COVID-19 on the man working as a driver for the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

His throat swab sample was collected on May 15.

People’s movement in the area has been completely prohibited since 8:00 am Wednesday.

Currently, the process of contract tracing and bringing those coming into contact to the testing coverage are going on, according to Range Superintendent of Police Sabin Pradhan.
