US Embassy repatriating its nationals Tuesday yet again

KATHMANDU: The Embassy of United States in Kathmandu is taking its citizens back from Nepal on Tuesday via a chartered flight.

The chartered flight will land at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Tuesday morning to repatriate the US nationals who have been stranded in Nepal due to the lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country, airport sources said.

The US Embassy had on March 31 sent back some 300 of its nationals in a chartered flight of Qatar Airways.

This time, it is not clear which airlines it has chartered.
