23 people kept in isolation in State-1

ITAHARI: Twenty three people, including six women, are kept in isolation for the prevention, control, and treatment of coronavirus in State-1.

They are all under the supervision of health workers.

Meanwhile, 387 swab samples were tested through the PCR method and 2,281 samples were examined through the RDT method across the State-1 as of Sunday, the Information Desk at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers stated.

The PCR test of samples is being carried out at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) at Dharan and at the Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar.

The number of people living in quarantine facilities set up by the State government has reached 676 so far and 4,223 people are kept in-home quarantine.

COVID-19 infection has been found in 13 people in the State. Among them, 11 are Indian nationals while two are Nepalis.
