Eight killed in Hanau shooting spree



KATHMANDU: Eight people died in two shootings that took place at shisha bars in the western German city of Hanau, BBC reported.

At least five people were injured after gunmen opened fire on early Thursday, according to the report.

The first shooting was at a bar in the city center, while the second one was in Hanau’s Kesselstadt neighborhood, according to local reports.

Police added that they are searching for the suspects, who fled the scene and are currently at large.
