National Assembly passes bill



KATHMANDU: National Assembly (NA) on Monday passed the ‘Federal, State and Local Level (Inter-relation Management) Bill, 2075’.

The Bill presented by Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada on behalf of Prime Minister KP Oli was passed unanimously.

Today’s meeting also decided to send the ‘Policy Research Foundation Bill, 2076’ to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise discussions.

Finance Minister Dr Khatiwada had, on behalf of Prime Minister Oli, presented a proposal seeking to send the bill to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise debate.

The NA will next meet at 1 pm on January 28.
