State 5 main opposition leader dies



RUPANDEHI: The main opposition leader of State 5 State Assembly Baladev Sharma Pokhrel has passed away on Monday. He was 82.

He succumbed to cancer he had been struggling with for a year at his residence in Tilottama municipality-14 in Rupandehi.

He was the Nepali Congress proportional candidate and was the senior-most in the State Assembly.

He is survived by his spouse, four sons, and two daughters.
