Kathmandu Valley records 238 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 238 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 179 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 26 in Bhaktapur, and 33 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 588 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,53,772 in the country as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 8,320 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 1,097 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,43,664 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 11 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,788.
