Student leaders of Prachanda-Nepal faction to protest Oli’s move



KATHMANDU: Students and youth leaders of the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) are holding a protest rally at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu against the recommendation of dissolving the parliament.

Ranjit Tamang, Co-coordinator of the All Nepal Independent Students’ Union, said that a nationwide protest would be staged against the Prime Minister’s ‘unconstitutional’ move.

Prime Minister KP Oli called a Cabinet meeting this morning and recommended the dissolution of the Parliament after the dispute in the ruling party reached its climax.
