KATHMANDU: A meeting of the top leaders of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) to discuss the cabinet decisin of dissolving the House of Representatives (HoR) has ended.

The meeting participated by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, senior leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal at Prachanda’s residence in Khumaltar discussed Prime Minister KP Oli’s proposal to dissolve the House and its consequences.

Party senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal said that the meeting decided to take political and constitutional steps against Prime Minister Oli’s proposal to dissolve the parliament.

Meanwhile, Standing Committee members of the ruling NCP are meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar to discuss the government’s recommendation to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR).

“The party is likely to take action against Prime Minister KP Oli for his unconstitutional move of dissolving the parliament,” a Standing Committee member said.

NCP senior leaders are engaged in serious discussions to chart out their future move against the government’s decision of dissolving the House.
