NA treats 516 patients of snakebite in a month



KATHMANDU: Nepal Army (NA) has treated 516 patients of snakebites of 16 districts in a month-long period from October 17 to November 15.

According to NA spokesperson Brigadier General Santosh Ballav Poudel, the Snakebite Treatment Centers established in 16 districts have treated 516 patients of snakebite in a month-long time.

“The snakebite centers operated under six divisions of NA have provided service to 516 patients of snakebites,” Spokesperson Poudel informed.

He informed that 289 patients of snakebites were treated under Eastern Division, 97 in Mid-eastern Division, 14 in Middle Division, nine in North-western Division, 78 Mid-western Division, and 29 in Far-western Division in the Nepali month of Kartik alone.
