Temperature dips across country, 5.9 degree in Valley



KATHMANDU: The weather is partly cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous regions and fair in the rest of the country, according to a weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Forecasting Division (FMD).

The weather will remain partly cloudy in one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions, said Shanti Kandel, a meteorologist.

According to Kandel, the weather will remain fair since there is no significant weather system in the country to cause rains or snowfall.

The temperature is going down across the country. The minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley is recorded at 5.9 degree Celsius this morning.

The temperature is expected to rise up to 22 degree Celsius today afternoon, according to the Division.
