One killed, three injured in Dang bus mishap



BUTWAL: A person has died on the spot and three others sustained critical injuries in a bus accident that occurred at Golbang in Pyuthan district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Tara Ranabhat, the bus driver, of Dang district.

According to District Police Office, Pyuthan, the passenger bus, Na 4 Kha 5561, heading to Dang from Mandabi rural municipality veered off and fell some 100 meters down the road.

The injured in the incident are 66-year-old Gokarna Adhikari, Laxmi Khatri of Tiram Mandabi and 30-year-old Basanta BK of  Bangalachuli rural municipality.

They have been taken to Dang for treatment, said DPO, Pyuthan. Police said they are investigating the accident.
