63 police personnel in Bhaktapur infected with coronavirus

BHAKTAPUR: As many as 63 police personnel have been confirmed to have contracted coronavirus in Bhaktapur district.

The infected police personnel were posted at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi and the police offices under it.

The infection cases were from the swab tests of 130 police personnel, said Chief of the Police Circle Rishiram Kandel, adding that the infected have been kept in isolation at Kharipati and Bode.

Services from the police offices have been affected due to the infection.
