100-bed isolation center established in Itahari

ITARAHI: Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City has set up a 100-bed isolation center at the premises of Itahari Stadium.

The isolation center is coming into operation from Monday, according to Ward Chairperson, Bhupendra Baral.

The State-1 government had allocated Rs. 2 million for establishing the isolation center, according to State Assembly Member from Itahari, Srabadhwaj Sanba.

It has 12 toilets and two bathrooms, clean running water and electricity along with other required health services, according to Baral.

Itahari had earlier set up a quarantine center at Janata Multiple Campus in Itahari-5.
