Passengers flying to Lukla must have negative PCR report



KATHMANDU: All passengers flying to Lukla are required to produce a PCR test having a negative report.

The Khumbu Pasanglamu village municipality have made it mandatory for passengers flying to Lukla to ensure that they have negative PCR report.

The municipality has written a letter to all airlines operating flights to Lukla to check PCR test results of all the passengers before onboarding the aircraft.

Domestic flights are being operated from Monday. Lukla Airport is the busiest airport during the tourist season.

Domestic flights are resuming after six months amid the coronavirus epidemic. So far, Khumbu is the first local government to place a condition on air travel. Tara, Sita and Summit Air fly to Lukla.
